As I sat and watched Nicole banging on a little toy piano and screaming/singing words at the top of her lungs to songs she knows from music class, I wondered at what age kids begin to develop a sense of being "in tune" or develop an ear for music. Then I thought that I hope she will forever bang and sing with that happiness, regardless of whether she is ever in tune, and regardless of whether she knows it or not.
Max, almost 18 months old now, started "spinning" today. Out of nowhere, he stood in one spot and went round and round and round, and was quite pleased with himself. He has started doing more movements like jumping, tiptoeing, and marching with knees up. College athletic scholarship here we come.
