Time to carve the pumpkins! The kids had been talking all day about carving their pumpkins tonight when daddy came home! The excitement was palpable---but waned almost as soon as the event started. Max ran off after about 5 minutes to play with Jack (who had only marginal interest to begin with) and Nicole stayed clear of the direct carving area once the pumpkin guts started exiting the pumpkin. She declared them gross and disgusting, and wanted to watch from 10 feet away at all times!
