Our first fireplace use of the season...
And a tradition that the kids have just started this year (a favorite for me when I was a kid!)---sleeping by the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve Eve! I thought they would be afraid to fall asleep downstairs, but they were asleep in no time, under the beautiful tree!
Visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads...
